PRE + POST CARE

Pre-Care instructions are designed to limit bleeding and skin sensitivities during the service.

Do not work out 24 hours prior.

NO alcohol or caffeine 48 hours prior.

Avoid sun and tanning 1 week prior.

Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen 48 hours prior.

    Discontinue Retin-A  4 weeks prior.

Refrain from use of any Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products close to the brow area 2 weeks prior (avoid on eyebrow area after procedure).

Botox and filler on the forehead, temple, and eye area should be avoided 1 month prior to procedure for those who do not regularly receive injectables.

No waxing/tinting/threading 1 week prior (the more natural hair growth you have, the better!)

    Avoid Chemical Peels/ Microdermabrasion/ Facials 4-weeks prior.

  • DAY OF PROCEDURE

    Day 1

Please wash your hands with antibacterial soap before ever touching your new Mircobladed eyebrows. When washing your eyebrows, use lukewarm water, and gentle cleansing or antibacterial soap.

Using your fingertips only, get a sudsy bubble lather going and in a circular motion, cleanse your brows for up to a minute. Rinse with lukewarm water and gently pat dry with a paper towel only.

Once completely dry, apply a THIN layer of micro balm (provided at initial appointment) to each brow. Perform this process before bed.

    Days 2-10

Wash your brows using the same technique as listed above, both morning and before bed. Keep eyebrows lightly glossed with micro balm three to four times a day for the next week. Do NOT overuse the micro balm, do not suffocate your brows, and do not use any other products on the treated area.

  • POST-APPT BROW CARE

DO NOT immerse brows in water for the first 10 days.

GENTLY cleanse and let brow air dry, then apply a thin layer of ointment provided daily. Use clean fingertip or Q-tip.(Avoid washcloths/sponges etc)

DO NOT pick, scratch or rub treated area. Let any scabs/dry skin naturally exfoliate off. (picking can cause scarring and pigment loss)

NO makeup/skincare products on treated area for 7 days.

NO sweaty exercise, pool, steam rooms/sauna for 2 weeks. Sweating through or on brows will expel pigment from the dermis producing poor results.

NO prolonged sun exposure or tanning until fully healed. Wear a hat! Direct sunlight can cause pigment to change color while healing and also cause hyper pigmentation and scarring.

Avoid sleeping on your face/brows for the first 10 days.

NO facials, botox, chemical treatments, and microdermabrasion for 4 weeks. We recommend that it’s best to wait until after your touch up heals to get Botox, as an educated injector will take your new brows into consideration when choosing where to inject.

Eyebrow tinting should not be undertaken for 2 weeks after your procedure.

Avoid Retin-A, Chemical Peels & Microderms near the brow area once healed.

Book touch-up session 6 weeks (for best results) after initial appointment.
