Microblading is a technique for creating semi-permanent, light, wispy hair strokes on your eyebrow ridge to supplement your natural eyebrows. It can be considered a form of eyebrow tattoo, though unlike most tattoos, it is almost undetectable when done right. And when properly done, microbladed eyebrows can maintain their appearance for up to three years in some cases.New Paragraph

Filling Your Cup.

Lisa Marie Oliver, September 11, 2020

I've mentioned before, you can give until your cup runs out, but who's going to fill YOU and your cup?

Break it to them nicely, you need time to miss them.

You need YOU TIME.  If you happen to be a planner like me,  schedule it in the iCal and communicate that you need time for yourself. Coordinate in a time that doesn't interrupt any other set family times or obligations. I tell my girls that 'mommy needs time to miss you.' It works, they come back some time later asking if I really did!

Don't hit that snooze button!

I wish I could still sleep in, but as a mom of three that includes a 4 month old, that's a far fetched luxury. In reality, there is something relaxing about waking up before everyone else and enjoying 30 uninterrupted minutes with a hot cup of coffee. Personally, I use that time to check emails, listen to a podcast or have my personal time with the big guy upstairs. Whatever you choose to do, if it starts your day on the right foot, you're golden! This is daily dedicated you time.

Breathe in some of that fresh air.

Take off that mask and get out of the house! I usually take my 4 month old son out in his stroller once the day has cooled off (it's Florida, let's be real, it's never cool!) Although not alone he doesn't say much!  Your body craves and needs that fresh air. Use that time to your advantage. Jam out to some excellent 90's music or an audio book, or maybe just enjoy the sounds that are on your path.

Keep those dreams alive with your dream board.

I like to keep my goals and dreams in front of me, a constant reminder of what I'm working towards. Updating my dream board or even my Pinterest board gets me excited for what's to come, or what recipe I'm making next!

Create a go to routine.

Literally set the mood, for yourself. That bath bomb is calling your name. Light that candle you picked up at Home Goods and write down your goals for the week. Enjoy every sip of your wine. Pamper yourself with a refreshing mask or even do the full nighttime skincare routine! Shut the door and focus on you.

Early bird gets... more sleep!

Maybe it's because I'm older but there are some nights I am crawling into bed at 8:30 PM. That's my body telling me 'enough, time for rest'.  I have my essential oils and white noise going, the fan at the perfect speed and whalaaaa, bedtime!

Be intentional about the time you are dedicating for yourself. As we all know, time flies. Enjoy your own company and recharge yourself.

I absolutely love to give; my time and energy, and when you're with me I want to assure that I'm filling you up with the love and attention you deserve. I find that when I have a full heart, I am able to give 100% during girls nights, date nights and family nights. Make that appointment with yourself and don't be late!
